From 6 to 8 August, the 2026 Global Business Innovation Conference (GBIC), themed “Harnessing AI to Drive Growth,” was held in Nanjing.
As an important part of Yonyou’s global business, Yonyou Europe brought together customers, partners and industry experts from Hungary, the United Kingdom and other European markets to attend the conference and explore new opportunities for enterprise digital and intelligent transformation and global expansion in the AI era. During the conference, the European delegation took part in the Overseas Welcome Dinner, the main conference, the Yonyou BIP Technology Summit and the Globalization Forum. Following the conference, the delegation also experienced Nanjing’s history and culture, gaining a deeper understanding of Chinese business culture and the development of the digital economy.
Overseas Welcome Dinner: Strengthening Partnerships and Embarking on a New Journey
On the evening of 6 August, Yonyou hosted the Overseas Welcome Dinner at the Nanjing Fenda International Hotel. Overseas customers and partners from around the world joined Yonyou’s global teams to begin their journey at the 2026 Global Business Innovation Conference. During the dinner, general managers from Yonyou’s overseas organizations raised a toast and presented distinctive gifts from their local markets. Guests from different countries and regions engaged in in-depth exchanges, creating an open and relaxed atmosphere for the business discussions that followed during the conference.
For Yonyou Europe, the dinner was more than a welcome ceremony; it was also an important opportunity to connect face to face with European partners. Partners from Hungary, the United Kingdom and other markets exchanged views with the European team, deepening mutual understanding and laying a stronger foundation for closer cooperation in the European market.
Global Business Innovation Conference: Focusing on AI Innovation and Global Growth
On 7 August, the Yonyou Europe team attended the main conference, the technology summit and the Globalization Forum, gaining a comprehensive view of Yonyou’s latest AI capabilities, industry solutions and globalization strategy.
At the conference, Wang Wenjing, Chairman and CEO of Yonyou Network, delivered a keynote speech titled “Harnessing AI to Drive Growth.” He noted that AI is leading a new general-purpose technology revolution and that enterprise digital and intelligent transformation is entering a new stage centered on intelligence. At the same time, AI is reshaping software architecture, forms, value and business models, accelerating the transition of global enterprises toward Digital & Intelligent Enterprise 2.0.
Yonyou BIP Technology Summit: Sharing European Digital Transformation Practices
The Yonyou BIP Technology Summit held in the afternoon brought together industry experts, customers and partners from around the world to discuss the latest trends in AI, large models and enterprise digital and intelligent transformation.
At the summit, Ferencz Zoltan, IT representative of BorsodChem, a Yonyou Europe customer in Hungary and part of Wanhua, delivered a presentation based on the company’s digital transformation practices. He introduced how the Yonyou IUAP platform integrates with different systems to support BorsodChem’s plant construction and management, presenting a strong example of digital transformation by a European enterprise to the global audience.
Globalization Forum: A European Perspective on Global Enterprise Operations
The Globalization Forum, held alongside the conference, featured in-depth discussions on global enterprise operations and AI-enabled international management, attracting numerous overseas customers and partners.
During the forum, Neil Lin, General Manager of Yonyou Europe, moderated a roundtable discussion. Erik Slooten, AI Partner at EY Hungary, joined the discussion and shared perspectives with enterprise representatives from around the world on AI adoption, digital transformation and international growth in Europe, providing practical international references for global enterprises.
Beyond the forum sessions, the Yonyou Europe team also visited the Digital & Intelligent Enterprise Experience Center and Yonyou BIP exhibition areas, gaining deeper insights into innovations in intelligent finance, intelligent manufacturing, supply chain and enterprise AI, while exchanging views directly with product experts.
Nanjing Cultural Experience: Discovering History and Deepening Cultural Exchange
On 8 August, the conference organized a cultural experience in Nanjing for overseas guests. The European delegation visited the Nanjing Presidential Palace and Nanjing Museum, experienced a performance showcasing Nanjing’s history and culture at the Confucius Temple area, and sampled local Nanjing cuisine.
The cultural journey gave European partners a deeper understanding of China while also bringing participants closer together. In a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, the group strengthened friendships and built greater trust for future international cooperation.
